What is Flocknote?
Flocknote is an email and text messaging tool created for churches, ministries, teams and other community organizations. We help you communicate with the people you care about. St. Colette will be using it to message our parishioners about important information. We will have different groups you can be apart of, so you only get information that is important to you!
Why is St. Colette Using Flocknote?
We believe that with Flocknote we can help us communicate with our parishioners and save us money in lots of ways. Whether it is saving money on bulk mail or sending out simple reminders about different collections or fundraising opportunities, Flocknote is a tool that can help.
Why are you asking for my address?
Flocknote is used mainly as a communication tool, but having our parishioners enter their correct, updated address will give us more up to date records going forward. You are not required to enter your address if you so choose. All that is required is an email address and your name.
Is my information Secure?
Flocknote uses a distributed, scalable server architecture over multiple geographic locations to allow for nearly infinite scalability and near-immediate failover in the event of a disaster or outage. All data transferred to and from Flocknote by users is done so using TLS protocol and is encrypted and authenticated using SHA-256 with RSA Encryption.
What else do I need to know?
St. Colette will officially be launching on October 7th and 8th. We will do a quick presentation after each Mass and will have people in the back of Church willing to answer any questions you may have. Please remember to bring your cell phones to Mass that day. Don’t worry, Father Gary has approved this message!!
