*Level 1 - Catechists, SCAP: Art & Snack Coordinator, Story Tellers Sacramental Materials Fees POLICY: Previous year’s tuition must be paid before a registration form is processed. GENERAL INFORMATION PROTECTING GOD'S CHILDREN: St. Colette's Religious Education Program adheres to Archdiocesan policies relating to creating safe environments for our children. All adult volunteers are required to submit permission for a Criminal History Background Check before beginning their duties and attend a "Protecting God's Children" workshop within the first six months of volunteering. Teens 9th grade - 12th grade are required also to submit permission for a Criminal History Background Check and attend an age appropriate workshp entitled "Called to Serve". It is our intention to provide the safest environment possible for our young people. We are grateful to our volunteers who partner with us in these efforts. ATTENDANCE: Regular attendance is critical to our children’s faith formation and understanding of the teachings of the Church. It is of great importance that there is continuity in their attendance. Parents are asked to call the office if their child will not be attending on a particular day so that we can notify their Catechist. If a child's absence has not been call in, the office will call the family to confirm their absence. TARDINESS: Parents are asked to make every effort possible for their children to be on time. If a chid is late they must stop at the session supervisor's desk in the classroom hallway and check in. CANCELLATION OF SESSIONS: If the Livonia Public Schools are closed due to a weather event, our sessions will also be cancelled. If we are forced to cancel a session because of weather or unforeseen circumstances; families will be notified with a call to their home phone and/or e-mail.
